Login to the BMW Update Manager with your My BMW credentials and select the vehicle that you would like to update the map for.Click ‘To manual map update’ link and download the BMW Update Manager.A message will display if a new map version is available. Select the vehicle for which you want to download a map update.Firstly, log-in to your My BMW Account using the icon in the site header.To do this, you will need to use the following steps and will require a 64GB FAT-32 formatted USB drive. If you have an active subcription, to update your map data, you can download the latest update from the BMW Connected Drive portal, using the BMW Update Manager.

They are available as a one- or two-year subscription in the BMW Shop. Map updates are published multiple times per year.
